Dr. Margaret Macminn
Dr. MacMinn graduated from University of Nevada School of Dental Medicine. Throughout
dental school, she focused her studies on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. In her free time,
she volunteered for “Give Kids a Smile” charity to provide free dental care for local kids. She
also completed a dental mission trip to Ecuador to provide free dental care to children there.
She grew up in Reno, NV, and graduated from Colorado College for undergrad. She has been
practicing dentistry in the San Francisco area for 10 years in private practices.
She focuses on dental restorations that are minimally invasive, easy to clean and maintain, and
that last the longest possible time. Her dental care is all planned with consideration of how it will
affect each person’s overall facial aesthetics and overall health. She enjoys treating children,
straightening teeth with Invisalign, and cosmetic and preventive treatments.
She listens carefully to each person’s concerns and finds treatment solutions to meet their
needs. Gentleness, kindness, and excellence are her guiding principles.
She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Marin County Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. MacMinn enjoys snowboarding in Tahoe, hiking around Marin, and
going to the beach with her husband and energetic kids. They have restored an original Eichler
home in San Rafael. She also enjoys volunteering for her children’s Terra Linda Little League
and San Rafael Girls Softball.
