Adult Clear Braces

  • Invisalign uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets.
  • The aligners are made through a combination of Dr. Kantor’s expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology.
  • You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
  • As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Kantor has prescribed.
  • You’ll visit Dr. Kantor about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
  • Total treatment time averages 9 – 15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

Now you change your aligners every week!

Treatment can be done in half the time 🙂

Top Frequently Asked Questions about Invisalign

What is Invisalign treatment?

Invisalign is a teeth-straightening method that uses a series of clear, removable trays to align your teeth. This treatment requires no brackets, wires, or any of the restrictions that you’d experience with metal braces.

What are Invisalign clear aligners made of and what do they look like?

Invisalign aligners are clear plastic trays that are FDA-approved. These thin, flexible aligners contain no BPA, BPS, latex, or gluten. Since they fit snugly over your teeth, they are practically invisible.

How will Invisalign treatment straighten my teeth?

We design a personalized digital treatment plan that charts the intended movement of your teeth. We create aligners that will slowly move your teeth into the desired position. We monitor each step and keep an eye on your progress, ensuring your aligners fit properly and are working effectively.

What are the primary benefits of Invisalign treatment?

  • Virtually invisible
  • Removable for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing
  • Comfortable and safe

Am I guaranteed to have straight teeth with Invisalign treatment?

We never guarantee treatment outcomes because each individual patient and situation is unique. However, we can say that the results of our Invisalign treatments have always been excellent.

Is Invisalign treatment right for me?

Yes! As long as you’re old enough to be responsible for keeping track of your aligners when you take them out to eat, you’re an excellent candidate for Invisalign. If you’re looking to improve your smile by straightening your teeth in a discreet way, Invisalign is right for you.

What is the treatment process?

Begin your Invisalign treatment by coming in for a consultation with us. We’ll examine your smile and then create a precise digital plan that breaks down the transformation of your smile, step by step. Next, upon your approval of the plan, we create aligners that will be unique to you. You’ll wear each new set for 22 hours a day, changing them out every two weeks.

How do I get started with Invisalign treatment?

Call our office today to set up an appointment with one of our Invisalign experts.

Can I go to any dentist or orthodontist for Invisalign treatment?

No. Not all dentists and orthodontists are Invisalign-trained doctors. We’ve completed a specialized training that has uniquely positioned us as the Invisalign experts in our area.

What should I expect during my consultation?

When you come in for your consultation, we’ll discuss your teeth=straightening goals and evaluate how they match up with your smile. We’ll also discuss the timeline and costs of the treatment.

How long will treatment take?

Typically, 3-12 months is the time for an Invisalign treatment to completely transform your smile, but the timeframe depends on a variety of factors, including the complexity of your case and how often you wear your aligners.

How often will I change aligners?

We’ll give you the specifics when you come in for an evaluation, but it’s most common to change your aligners every two weeks.

How many hours per day should I wear my aligners?

Optimal outcomes result when you wear your aligners at least 20 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drinks, brush, or floss.

How often will I have appointments with my doctor?

We like to check in on your treatment and ensure it’s moving along as planned by scheduling appointments with you every four to six weeks.

How much does Invisalign treatment cost?

Much like the length of your treatment, the cost depends on the complexity of your case and the number of aligners required to straighten your smile. When you come in for your consultation, we’ll be able to answer this question more precisely. We offer financing plans to make Invisalign an affordable option for you.

Is Invisalign treatment more expensive than braces?

The good news is this advanced Invisalign technology is usually the same cost as metal braces.

I am currently wearing braces. Can I make the switch to Invisalign treatment?

Maybe! It’s not uncommon for us to treat patients with a combination of aligners and braces. Schedule an appointment with us today to find out if this is a possibility for you!
