Dr. John Gutierrez is passionate about your smile. His life’s work has been dedicated to early diagnosis and treatment of infectious disease of the oral cavity. He endeavors to transform your smile in a gentle and pain free environment and maintain your healthy smile at optimal level that will allow you to become the best version of yourself.

Dr. Gutierrez focuses on root canal treatment that restores teeth suffering from advanced bacterial infiltration, fracture, or trauma. He regularly attends Continuing Education courses to grow his mastery of Endodontics. He has expertise in root canal treatment.

A graduate of UCLA, Dr. Gutierrez earned his Bachelor’s Degree and began his dental studies at Autonomous University of Guadalajara, School of Dentistry. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree Dr. Gutierrez pursued a Master’s of Public Health with a dental emphasis at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri and graduated magna cum laude for which he was bestowed lifetime membership in Delta Omega Honor Society in Public Health. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Clara County Dental Society. He has published multiple articles in the dental literature. When not restoring smiles for optimal oral health, you can find Dr. Gutierrez hiking in the redwoods, visiting family, fellowshipping with friends, listening to music, watching Netflix, or reading a novel.
